CISV: Mini-camps

If you don't know what CISV is, it's "Children's International Summer Villages." I found out about this from my friend. Mini-camps are local camps that usually last for about 5 days.

During the Sem Break in 2011, I went to my very first mini-camp, "Shake, Rattle, & Roll." I met amazing people like Arielle and Mikki. We're still great friends until today! It was my very first experience and I had a great time.

Last summer (2012), I went to Camp Dream with Arielle. We met Therese, and Isabel. In my opinion my second camp had some of the best staffers! Arielle, Therese, Isabel, and I are best friends and we do a lot together :)

I went to my third mini-camp last Sem Break, Camp Watt, with Arielle, Therese, and Isabel. It was in a different venue as the rest, but I met a great number of people. I was with some of my other past campmates too.

Joining CISV was one of the greatest decisions I have ever made, I learned a lot, and met a lot of great people. If you had the chance to go I think you should. ☺

Summer 2013: March 16 ☀

Last Saturday (March 16, 2013) my friends and I went to Shangri-la to watch "Must Be Love" a Filipino movie starring Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo. (Yes, Filipino movies are cool.) It was actually a pretty good movie!! I watched with my friends Isabel & Therese :) The story is about a girl named Patricia or "Patchot" (Kathryn Bernardo) who's lived like a guy for all her life. Her bestfriend, Ivan (Daniel Padilla), has a slow-mo moment with her cousin Angel. It was a really funny love story and it shows you how people can change even when you don't want or expect them too.

ADVENTURE TIME

Adventure Time is a tv series, it's first episode aired on January 2007. I got addicted to this show at the beginning of summer 2011. I thought it was really stupid, like who would watch a stupid show like that? Then I watched more episodes then I started to get addicted :) My favorite character is Flame Princess!

Flame Princess is from the Fire Kingdom and first appeared in the episode "Incendium." She's the sort of girlfriend of Finn :> 

Adventure Time was created by Pendleton Ward. Rebecca Sugar is the coolest!! She draws some of the characters and makes a lot of the songs :D 

That's all I have to say about Adventure Time (for now).

Summer 2013: March 12

Holaa ☺

Today I went to my past school and saw my old friends and teachers, MIRIAM COLLEGE IS DA BOMB (in my opinion). So I saw Sam, and Xenia two of the weirdest and awesomest losers I have ever met in mah life!

annnnd, I saw my favorite grade school teacher Sir Dumas!! He is the coolest, he teaches math, rides a bike (like legit super long bikes), he teaches frisbee and he sings/ plays the guitar really well! (his awesome soundcloud :>)

Soo what happened to me in SY 2012-2013?

• learned lots of educational & school related stuff
• met lots of wonderfully awesome teachers
• had the best time with ruby 2018 and batch 2018
• aaand had the best opportunities to do what I love <3 

What I expected to be the most weird year with a bunch of nerds turned out to be the best year I have ever had, despite the hard projects + lessons we were given, it was a great experience and I wouldn't have traded it for anything in the world :)
